Extra-curricular activities

Lakemba Public School offers several extra-curricular activities for students to enjoy.

Creative art group

The creative art group is a group of students from Kindergarten through to Year 6 who are selected by their teachers to take part in a specialist program coordinated by Ms Kergis and Mrs Alki. Two students from each class work with the teachers each week to design and complete artworks that decorate the school.

Choir

Lakemba Public School's choir is made up of students from Stage 2 (Years 3 and 4) and Stage 3 (Years 5 and 6). They meet regularly with Mr Hooper to learn and practise their repertoire.

Dance

Lakemba Public School dance group is a group of enthusiastic students from Stage 2 (Years 3 and 4) and Stage 3 (Years 5 and 6) who meet after school to learn and practise their routines. The group is headed by Ms Segeant and Ms Kanaan who choreograph and organise the students.
